Glow Kids Church
K - 6th Grade
GLOW KIDS LIVE! is held every Sunday at 10am (the same time as our adult worship service) in the gym. Doors open at 9:45am.
Our program includes: opening free time (games, art projects, and sports), live worship, the clubhouse drama team, teaching, the Bible drama team, and boys vs. girls competitions!
BEFORE KIDS LEAVE THE 6TH GRADE, WE WANT THEM TO UNDERSTAND 3 BASIC TRUTHS:
FAITH: I can trust God no matter what.
WISDOM: I need to make the wise choice.
FRIENDSHIP: I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

CHECK-IN
When you first arrive at Glow Kids we ask that you visit our Check-in Station located in the Kids Cafe. At The Tabernacle we use a secure web-based check-in system for the safety of you and your children. Each child and parent will receive a sticker with a matching code. At pick-up time you must present your security sticker to our greeter team in order to pick up your child.
THE POPROCKS
The Poprocks worship team exists to develop teen and young adult musicians, dancers and singers and give them opportunities to use their talents to worship God and lead the next generation in worship.
THE CLUBHOUSE
The Clubhouse drama team exists to articulate a dilemma or situation between characters that needs to be resolved. The characters in the clubhouse represent everyday kids who go through the messiness of life and learn how to resolve tension and make an application of Bible truth.
SMALL GROUPS
Small Groups meet every Sunday from 9:00-9:45am. Each grade meets in their own classroom with their small group leader for hands-on discipleship and mentorship. We believe that a child’s parents (not their church) will always be the biggest influence in their lives in every way - including spiritually. So if the church wants to impact kids spiritually, doesn’t it make sense for the church to try to partner with the most powerful, influential people in those students’ lives in order to make that happen?
We use the term PARTNER for a reason. It’s because we believe parents and the church need each other. The church needs parents to be actively engaged with their kids’ spiritual growth, because they’re ultimately the biggest influencers of their own children. And parents need the local church because their kids need to learn about and experience God from a whole community of believers! At Glow Kids, we strategically develop ways to engage and partner with parents and families.
Small group leaders serve as “another voice” in the lives of students; they’re voices of love, encouragement, wisdom, and support for kids. They’re voices who echo the hearts of those students’ parents. They’re voices who are committed to doing whatever they can to help students engage in a vibrant relationship with God and in the story He wants to tell through their lives.
