The earliest service, which runs from 8-9am, ...is typically more traditional. We usually have 3 songs of praise and worship, with 2 of them being hymns. Communion is served at all three morning worship services. It is open to all who believe - regardless of church membership or particular denomenational affiliation. A sermon message is preached either by one of the Pastors here on staff or a guess minister who might be with us on that particular Sunday. At all three services we recieve both the regular tithes and also special missionary offernings. The Tabernacle has always been very missions minded, and we are pleased to support and be a part of God's work around the globe.
Our discipleship and small group hour, which we call Tab Family A.M. Edition, runs from 9:00 to 9:50am, ...is a great time for indivuals of all ages to meet together for both fellowship and spiritual growth together. We have classes for children, discipleship for youth, and adult small groups. The groups available to the adults discuss and learn on things like How to Study the Bible, more in-depth studies on specific books of the Bible, themed studies, mentoring, Marriage and or Family themed groups - there is a lot available! You can get specific information at our Welcome Center which is in the Atrium off the Sanctuary as you head towards our Fireside Café. You can also download our small groups location map as a PDF. We have one for the adult groups, and one for the children's classes.
Our second service, which goes from 10:00 to 11:30am, ...is more contemporary with a full worship band and orchestra for the praise and worship songs. We believe that worship is meant to be an engaging experience. God is the very Author of creation; as such, He freely enjoys our creative expressions of worship that we extend to Him. You may see people express themselves through raised hands, tears of joy or brokenness, kneeling, extending their hands towards heaven, or laying on the floor before our Holy God. All sincere expressions are welcomed at our services. Communion is served as a part of the worship experience, as is the giving of tithes and offerings.
