Celebrate Freedom

Celebrate Freedom is a faith based 12 step addiction recovery program. This group meets Thursday nights in the Family Life Center Gym from 7pm - 9pm. For Additional information contact Pastor Dee at 716-207-1995.

Western NY Teen Challenge

Teen Challenge is a faith-based drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility, which believes in a total cure for the whole man. The Tabernacle actually sowed the finances, building, and staff to start Teen Challenge of Western NY in 1978. At that time it was known as Buffalo Teen Challenge. Since then, they have transitioned through 3 different physical facilities - as needed to sustain the growth of the ministry. They are presently located in downtown Buffalo and currently operate a 22-bed facility which serves the Buffalo/Niagara area. In recognition of our diverse region and the majority of people served in the Buffalo/Niagara frontier, we formally changed our name to Teen Challenge of Western NY in 2009.

The program provides residential recovery to men ages 18 and over from all ethnic, socioeconomic and religious backgrounds. We believe that there is hope for recovery for every individual who is bound with life controlling problems such as an addiction to drugs or alcohol by establishing a relationship with Jesus Christ. We believe there is hope even when all other methods have failed.

Freedom Village

Freedom Village is a residential facility for troubled teens. The 150-acre campus is located just north of Watkins Glen in Western New York State. Freedom Village, founded in 1981 is an "intensive care ward" for America’s youth and is the largest home of its kind. Thousands of young people from across America, Canada, and around the world, once labeled "hopeless" and "unreachable," have turned their lives around through this Christian based program.

Freedom Village is, at any given time, home to 150 to 200 young people, ages 14-21, who need and want help with various aspects of their lives. Many have been involved in drug and alcohol abuse, have attempted suicide, or lived in abusive home situations including physical, emotional and sexual abuse. Some have turned to lives of crime after their families and society abandoned them.
